The Safehouse
Situated in the heart of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter, Voicebox Comedy @ Safehouse Arts Space is a regular night on the Belfast comedy club map, making a name for itself as an “alternative” comedy night within the local amateur scene, featuring less “mainstream” humour, and more of the lesser-used mediums such as surrealism, sketches, character skits, short films, songs and comedy lectures.
Usually with 10 or more acts on each month, it’s the definitive comedy night for acts and audience alike to flex their funny muscles and let their hair down.
Such acts appearing at Voicebox have been Lorcan McGrane, Susie Showers, Texan comedy duo Scott Calonico & Stacey Mead, the band Bored Housewife and various local comedy stalwarts.
Voicebox takes place on the first friday of every month.
