Big Laughs @ the Big House is the original Big Laughs gig which has been a key night for discovering local talent. Many now established local comedians first trod the boards here.
This night is our fresh faces and fresh material night featuring everything from open mic spots and first-timers, to established comedians trying out something new. Being one of our more random nights it’s a lot of fun. An unpredictable comedy night, you never know what you’re in for from first-timers or old hands. Who will sink, who will soar, who will show? It also hosts fun themed-nights featuring lectures, music nights, judgmental monkeys and occasionally Jesus.
You may see the next new star, you may see some drunk fella talking shite. That’s why we like it.
