Scott and Stacey

Scott and Stacey are a comedy duo from Austin, Texas now based in the UK. They are regular performers at The Velveeta Room where they entertain drunken tourists with their aphorisms and playful stage banter.

For the last eight years they have joined forces to write, produce, direct and star in a slew of rather amusing short films that have shown worldwide including screenings at Sundance, Venice, and Rotterdam.

A film festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas even gave them a certificate with their names written in calligraphy.

In the United States, they have performed at The Velveeta Room (Austin, TX), Capitol City Comedy Club (Austin, TX) The Laff Stop (Houston, TX), The Melrose Improv (Los Angeles, CA), The Purple Onion (San Francisco, CA), and The M Bar (Los Angeles, CA).

Here in the UK, we’ve appeared at McHugh’s (Belfast, NI), The Pavillion (Belfast, NI), and The Voicebox@Safehouse (Belfast, UK).

They were twice runners up in the Funniest Person in Austin Contest and have appeared at the Out of Bounds Improv Festival and the San Francisco Sketchfest. Along the way, they’ve performed with the likes of Doug Benson, Sarah Silverman, Paul F. Thompkins and Johnny Hardwick.
