The award-winning Bridget Christie brings her acclaimed Edinburgh 2011 show HOUSEWIFE SURREALIST to the Black Box.
As well as having written and performed six critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows, Bridget Christie won the inaugural Funny Women Best Show Fringe Award in 2007, and is a regular panellist on Radio 4’s News Quiz and Broadcasting House. She has starred in a number of TV and Radio 4 comedies, including Sarah Millican’s Support Group, and Harry Hill’s Little Internet Show.
Join Bridget Christie as she hands out communion wafers, eats a banana, explains religion, suggests how Ken Clarke should eat a toad in the hole, and re-enacts The Ascension of Christ using a fishing rod. Housewife Surrealist has been comedy pick of the week in The Sunday Times and the Guardian.
